Welcome to Belleve
My name is Belle. I am a recovery coach offering face-to-face sessions in Stratford-upon-Avon and remote sessions via telephone or video call. My specialist areas are anxiety, Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa.
At the heart of Belleve is the belief that recovery must be led by the individual. We will work together to conquer your goals at a pace and in a style determined by you. Together we will build your strength and mental resilience, enabling you to achieve your full potential.
ABOUT ME
I have always had a passion for persuasive writing and motivational speaking, which led me to gain a First Class BA (hons) degree in Journalism in 2015, followed by a diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Along with first-hand experience of mental health problems and their potentially fateful consequences, this ambition led me to work in the field.
After a long battle with chronic anxiety which later manifested into anorexia nervosa, I worked as a mental health recovery worker for Rethink Mental Illness. Here, I supported people with severe mental health problems to regain their confidence and independence.
Since then, I have worked for the UK's leading mental health charity MIND in GP surgeries across Worcestershire. I have empowered people to manage difficult emotions such as anxiety and panic attacks, depression, anger, low self-esteem, stress, grief and loneliness, which are ever-increasing in today's world.
I am here to show people that recovery is possible. Even when it feels like there is no way out, there is always hope. With enough belief, support and encouragement, you can achieve real and lasting change in your life.
Having navigated through the darkest times and found real, full life again, I'm here to help you do the same.
SERVICES
TAILORED AROUND YOU.
Anxiety
In my work, I have learned and practised a wealth of coping mechanisms - from mindfulness, meditation and breathing techniques, to making structural evidence-based changes which are clinically proven to enhance wellbeing.
My personal and professional experiences combined have taught me the skills needed to guide others through difficult times, but also some elements of traditional therapy practise which can be improved upon.
This is what makes Belleve different. Recognising the need for flexibility in responding to individual and situational needs - and that one size never fits all - our sessions will be completely tailored around the individual, their unique goals and what they want to discuss at that time.
I offer CBT skills, reflection around relationships and personal history or simply act as a sounding board, using lived and professional experience to guide you through your struggles and towards the goals you set out for yourself.
It sounds simple - obvious, in fact - but this person-centred, patient-led approach is often not what you get with traditional therapy options.
Additionally, I aim to make this service as accessible as possible. This is reflected in the varied communication methods available, flexibility in duration and frequency of sessions and incredibly reasonable prices.
Eating Disorders
I am uniquely equipped with knowledge of the hardship and internal conflict of living with an eating disorder, but also that there is life beyond that struggle. Recognising that no single experience is the same, I work together with clients to identify individual triggers and combat limiting thoughts and behaviours, using resources and methods practised during my own recovery and professional work. I want clients to know that they are not alone, and recovery is possible for everyone.
If required, I now proudly work in partnership with a specialist eating disorder dietitian - our combined lived experience and professional expertise providing the holistic package needed for a solid, sustainable recovery.

A big thank you for listening and your understanding while I have been coming to see you, and helping me to head in the right direction to get me back on track. You have gone above and beyond and your calm approach has guided me from week to week. You are a lovely young lady.

I was honestly scared to begin my sessions with Belle, not knowing what to expect. But her warm, down to earth therapeutic approach made me instantly feel at ease. My sessions were carried out at my own pace. I loved that I was jointly in charge of my treatment, rather than being told to follow a particular model or have a certain number of sessions. My sessions made me feel empowered and I now feel confident that I can manage my condition on my own. It’s also nice to know I can always go back for a one-off session should I want one.

Belle has been amazing throughout. My mental health has improved so much and I feel positive about life every time I leave the room. My life has changed in such a positive way since seeing Belle, all thanks to the way she helped me change my mindset and concentrate on the positives. Thank you Belle.

Belle’s sessions have not only helped me overcome my anxiety, they have made me actually like myself. I never thought this possible and I can’t thank her enough. I always thought of self-care as being a selfish luxury. But Belle has taught me to be kind and compassionate towards myself, which not only improves my own life it makes me a better person for everyone around me, too.

Before I saw Belle, I was terrified of doing my exams. My anxiety and fear of failiure was ruling my life. Her sessions have taught me how to be in control of my emotions rather than them controlling me. Now in touch with my triggers, thoughts and behaviours I can challenge the things which have been holding me back. I can finally pursue and achieve what I want from life. For anyone experiencing low self-esteem, anxiety or low mood, I can’t recommend these sessions strongly enough.
